Santa Claus!

Raina visited Santa Claus yesterday for the first time. He concluded that she'd been a good girl more or less. Here's the photo before the crying started. In hindsight it's amazing that she kept it together as long as she did. :]

Thanksgiving!

Grandma and Grandpa Sheldon and Grandma and Grandpa Moo joined us in DC for Thanksgiving. Raina was a little under the weather but still enjoyed turkey dinner. Thanks to the grandparents for celebrating with us and giving Mommy and Daddy a night out.

First Halloween!

Today was Raina's first Halloween. She saw her friends Quinn and Grey and got to wear her Penguina costume for real. Miscellaneous pics from the evening. Note to self: buy more candy next year.

Poconos Getaway

Back to back trips for the fam! This past weekend we went to the Poconos with Ashlyn, Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jackie. Great vacation!

Mom, Dad and little V spent a long weekend in Rochester with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Jon. Perfect Fall weather.

We saw Aunt Jan, Uncle Jek, Lis and Dave. Uncle Dan came by and made us breakfast. Awesome.

Raina tried pumpkin this week. She was more or less a fan. Well, actually we mixed it with pears and sweet potatoes so maybe she didn't know the difference.

Mom and Dad watched Ashlyn on Saturday while Uncle Andrew and Aunt Jackie went on a date. We borrowed Crick and Kate's double-wide. Ashlyn, taking in the sights. Raina, too pooped to party.

Raina, Mom and Dad go for a run on Sunday morning... which is really just an excuse to get coffee on the way back. Raina was pleased with her Fall getup, clearly.

Happy Hour

Happy Hour with Kate and Grey last Wednesday. Grey showed Raina how he walks. Raina lounged on Kate for a while, then crashed on Mommy.

The Wave

Raina has learned how to wave hello and goodbye. Mostly it consists of her slowly raising her arm up and then letting it down. Occasionally we see a little hand movement. It's officially our new favorite trick.

Mo' Scootin'

$300 in stuffed animals, toys, blocks, blankets, jumperoos and whatnot. Still we go after the water bottle. Babies. Anyway, full up crawl devolves in to a scoot.

Eventful week. Dad put Raina in her crib for a minute to clean up the sink and walked balk in to find her pulling up on the crib rail. Guess we should've lowered the mattress a few weeks ago...

It probably seems like Raina is in the Jumperoo all the time. Not really, but it's still hilarious.

Granny Sweet Potato

Grandma Diane handled lunch today, which consisted of sweet potatoes. Surprise! Raina is all about it. Note we discovered that peas are not among her favorite foods. We'll revisit this issue in a month or so. Next on the list: green beans.
