Daddy Daycare
Uncle Andrew was off today, home with Ashlyn. Dad took the day off and broke Raina out of school to hang out. When we planned this a few months ago, we envisioned lots of video games, a few beers and two perpetually napping babies. In hindsight this was a little naive. We ended up changing diapers, consoling, feeding and bouncing, among other things. Nary a video game was played, and all the beers remained snug in the refridgerator. Ah well, we'll try this again in a few months when Ashlyn and Raina can entertain themselves.
Here's a pictures of Raina getting ready to go in the morning. Only slightly excited at the prospect of skipping out on daycare.

Dinner
We started giving Raina rice cereal a few weeks ago to get her used to the idea of solid, er, plasma based food. So far she's a huge fan. We put a spoon in one hand and she thinks she's doing all the work. Hilarious to watch this all transpire. Anyhow, here's a pic of Uncle Jon feeding Raina some rice cereal Sunday. We cooked steaks and potatoes, then watched AFV... wholesome evening.

Day at the Zoo
Raina and Mommy spent the day at the National Zoo. Raina liked the elephants and the meerkats but she loved the baby gorilla!

Raina Rolls Over
Video from Easter that Dad just managed to get uploaded. Raina's first roll and reaction from the peanut gallery.
Granny Get-Well
Mom, Dad and Raina went to see Grandma again this past week on account of how she had an unexpected hospital trip. Grandma is recovering quickly, everyone is relieved. Grandpa Terry will be waiting on her hand and foot (right, Grandpa?).
Raina enjoyed the pool again this trip and took some record naps in the Florida heat. We learned she is still not a fan of car rides. Like her Grandpa Jared I guess.

Dinner at Uncle Jon's
We did Taco night at Uncle Jon's place with Dutch's famous gaucamole and pico. Delicious. Raina and Jon watching TV.
Florida Vacation
Pics from vacation with Grandma and Grandpa in Florida. Raina's first flight went surprisingly well. No major fits and no issues with changes in air-pressure, that could tell anyway. Major relief. Mom and Dad resolved to be less stressed next time we fly with baby.

3 Months! (cont'd)
Catching up on the month of April. Mom and Dad are both back to work now. Granny Diane spent two weeks here taking care of all three of us (thanks Gran!). Here's an album with some pics from the past few weeks.

3 Months!
Raina will officially be three months old tomorrow (Monday). How exciting. Recently she's taken to gumming everything she can get her hands on. We think this means a tooth is imminent but we can find no evidence to support that theory otherwise.
Grandma Diane has been helping while Mom and Dad are both off to work... which is awesome as it lets us dodge child-care payments an extra two weeks.

10 Weeks!?
Wait, WTF>>> weren't we just at 9 weeks? Holy Horatio, these babies make time fly. It's worse actually, tomorrow she'll be 11 weeks old. Egad. No need to rationalize my inability to keep track of the major dates... NPR has some science to explain it all. That's right, SCIENCE.

9 Weeks!
Album documenting the visual evidence of Raina at 9 weeks old. Mommy loves these weekly roll-ups! Daddy wonders when we're going to start counting Raina's age in months.
